About Us

Harvest Rock is a unique inaugural music concert to be held in Merredin, situated approximately 259 km East of Perth along the main East-West route in the Western Australian ‘Central Eastern Wheatbelt’ (CEW).

Merredin is a very central location to attract people from Perth in the West (2 1/2 hr drive), Kalgoorlie in the East (3 hr drive).

The proposed venue will be in the open air set inside a huge quarry just south of the Merredin town. This site is a typical feature of the granite rock outcrops set in the subdued landscape that the region is famous for.

Harvest is also a real key element to the event, largely due to the timing, which is planned for October/November. In Merredin and CEW region, we harvest grain, wind, ground water and the sun’s energy.

The proposed concert schedule features completely ‘original artists’ with representation from local and regional based artists followed by a nationally acclaimed iconic Australian act.

This is an all age’s licensed event. Juveniles under 18 years are permitted to be on this licensed premise when accompanied by, and under the supervision of a responsible adult. A legal guardian, parent, step-parent or any other person who has control of and responsibility for a juvenile could be considered a responsible adult. This will be at the discretion of Harvest Rock. We plan to have an alcohol free area for those concert – goers that require it.

There will be FREE camping for those patrons that require it and a catered for camping option (for a fee) for those that want to jump in the car, or a bus or train without dragging out the camping gear!
